Legal
Last updated: 29 August 2026
These terms govern your use of JaipurLifes. By creating an account, browsing the site, writing a review, or claiming a business listing, you're agreeing to them. We've tried to write them so they're actually readable rather than defensive legal filler — if a section is unclear, ask us.
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're creating an account on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to represent that business and to agree to these terms on its behalf. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account, whether or not you personally performed the action — so don't share your login, and tell us immediately if you think your account has been compromised.
JaipurLifes is a discovery and information platform for Jaipur: a directory of places, an events calendar, local news aggregation, an AI concierge, and civic information tools. We aim for accuracy but we don't guarantee it — business hours change, restaurants close, events get rescheduled, and some of our data comes from third-party sources (OpenStreetMap, business self-reporting, public news feeds) that we don't independently verify in real time. Always confirm anything time-sensitive or safety-relevant (a business's current hours, an event's actual date, emergency contact numbers) directly with the source before relying on it.
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, remove content that violates them, and reject or revoke business claims that turn out to be fraudulent. Where reasonably possible we'll explain why an account or listing was actioned — a rejected business claim, for instance, always comes with a stated reason — but we're not obligated to provide advance notice for accounts engaged in clear abuse.
You retain ownership of the content you post — reviews, photos, community posts, business listing details. By posting it, you grant JaipurLifes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content on the platform (and in reasonable promotional contexts, such as featuring a review on a place's page or in marketing material referencing the platform generally) for as long as it remains on the site. You're solely responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you submit — don't upload photos or content you don't have permission to use.
Reviews are moderated before publication, but moderation review doesn't mean we've independently verified every factual claim in a review — it means we've checked it doesn't violate our content guidelines. If you believe a specific review about your business is false or defamatory, use our content report channel and we'll investigate.
Claiming a business listing — whether an existing OpenStreetMap-sourced entry or a brand-new submission — requires you to actually be the owner, an authorized manager, or otherwise genuinely connected to that business. Submitting a claim you know to be false is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension. Approved claims give you the ability to edit your listing's details, hours, amenities, and photos, and to post offers; you're responsible for keeping that information accurate. We may remove or edit listing content that's misleading, fraudulent, or violates applicable law (for example, false health or safety claims), and we may suspend a business's ability to post offers if we determine the offers themselves are deceptive.
Responses from the AI concierge and the itinerary generator are produced by an automated system and are meant as a starting point for exploring Jaipur, not as guaranteed-accurate advice. The system is designed to ground its answers in our own place and event data, but automated systems can still make mistakes, misinterpret a question, or produce an incomplete answer. Don't rely on it for anything safety-critical (directions in an emergency, medical guidance, legal or financial decisions) — use the appropriate professional or official resource for those instead.
The JaipurLifes name, logo, and the platform's own design, code, and original editorial content (guides, curated lists) are owned by us or our licensors and aren't available for reuse without permission. Third-party content displayed on the platform — Wikimedia Commons and Pexels photography, OpenStreetMap data, syndicated news content — remains the property of its respective source and is used under the applicable license, with attribution shown where the license requires it.
The platform links out to third-party websites (a restaurant's own site, a news article's original publisher, social media profiles) and integrates a small number of third-party services (Google sign-in, event data providers). We don't control those external sites or services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or their own terms and privacy practices.
JaipurLifes is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular listing, review, or piece of information is accurate or current. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including decisions made based on information found here — for instance, if a listed business's hours turn out to be outdated and you make a wasted trip, that's a real inconvenience we take seriously as a data-quality issue, but it isn't something we can be financially liable for. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, make a reasonable effort to notify active users. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don't agree with a change, your option is to stop using the platform and, if you wish, request account deletion.
You can stop using JaipurLifes and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, and we may discontinue the platform or specific features of it, though we'll try to give reasonable notice for anything that would meaningfully disrupt active business owners or users.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of the platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Questions about these terms can go to contact@kpthink.com, or through our Contact page. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
