Bissau Palace was built in 1874 as a Jaipur residence for the ruler of Bissau, expanded in the 1920s, and became one of Rajasthan's first family-run heritage hotels in 1965. The Bissau family still lives on the two-acre property, which combines Shekhawati architecture with art deco interiors, Rajasthani frescoes and a collection of antique armoury.
